Meet Benjamin 👋 For more than 30 years, Benjamin Conner has been hands-on in every aspect of building. As the founder of @conneriiihomebuilders, he’s spent the last decade building a company rooted in craftsmanship, experience, and attention to detail. With a dedicated team and a Carolopolis Award to his name, Benjamin prides himself on the belief that no project is too big or too small—bringing the same level of care, trade knowledge, and thoughtful execution to every build.
John
Meet John 👋 Our Lead Estimator & Project Manager who turns real project data into clear, accurate estimates—and just as importantly, makes every client feel heard and taken care of along the way. With his calm, approachable style and genuine attention to detail, John is a favorite among our homeowners from the first call to the final walk-through. A certified PGA Pro with a love for golf, John thrives in a role that allows him to be outdoors, work with people, and help bring clients’ visions to life every day.
Johnny
Meet Johnny 👋 Johnny is celebrating one year with @conneriiihomebuilders, bringing with him 28 years of experience in the construction industry and 10.5 years of service in the United States Marine Corps. His background has shaped a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and deep respect for teamwork. Johnny genuinely enjoys connecting with everyone involved in a project — from the crews in the field to the homeowners eagerly watching their vision come to life. For him, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a project start from the ground up and handing over a finished home to a happy owner.
Clay
Meet Clay 👋 He’s been around construction since the mid-90s, starting out cleaning job sites for his stepfather, a custom home builder in Summerville, and working his way up to assistant project manager and accountant. A longtime friend of Benjamin’s, he now serves as Project Manager for Conner III Homebuilders, bringing decades of hands-on experience to every build. Clay graduated from Clemson in 2007 with a degree in Financial Management and a minor in Accounting, became a licensed real estate agent in 2012, and also serves as a controller and CFO for IT companies in South Carolina. His background blends construction knowledge with strong financial leadership.
